EFFECTIVE INFORMATION SOLUTIONS FOR NAVIGATION SYSTEMS IN MEDICAL FACILITIES

Abstarct

The results of the analysis of navigation systems in medical facilities from the position of compliance of information solutions of indices with basic principles of management conception of lean production are presented. It is determined that the principles of effective information solutions for navigation systems are based upon the requirements of sense functionality, reliability, accuracy, continuity, uniformity of text and graphic information. Lean production principles of navigation assume the presentation of precise and clear information at necessary time, at necessary place and to the required extent on the whole route for patients. It is recommended to check all navigation elements (available and planned for installation) for compliance with basic notions of lean production conception; the most important notions consist in the development of navigation systems with minimization of basic and supplementary losses which are considered in management conception. Due to own photograph base of navigation indices the authors demonstrate the examples of mistakes and the best practices in information solutions for navigation systems in functioning medical facilities. The practical significance of such work consists in the possibility of the application of the results in the projects for the improvement of functioning visualization systems and in the development of federal navigation systems in state and municipal medical facilities
