Objective – to value the quality and the accessibility of urological services, and the level of patients’ satisfaction with the care quality received after being diagnosed with urolithiasis. Material and Methods. A survey was performed among 931 patients with urolithiasis to determine their satisfaction with the quality of specialized urological care at the outpatient and inpatient stages. Statistical processing of the obtained results was carried out using methods of statistical grouping, tabular summarization, the calculation of relative indicators, and the analysis of frequency distribution series. The Student’s t-test was used to assess the statistical significance of the differences in results (differences at p <0.05 being considered statistically significant). Results and Discussion. The patients demonstrated insufficient awareness of metaphylactic measures and a low level of dispensary observation. The patients with urolithiasis rated the quality of specialized medical care as satisfactory in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Furthermore, the quality of urological care provided in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan was found to be higher than in other municipalities. Additionally, the patients rated the work of urologists in outpatient settings slightly higher than that of urologists in inpatient departments. Conclusion. The obtained results can be used to develop a clinical and organizational scheme to improve specialized medical care for patients with urolithiasis to enhance the quality of dispensary observation, and the continuity of outpatient and inpatient stages within the urological service of the Republic of Tatarstan.
