ADDITION OF INTRAMEDULLARY OSTEOSYNTHESIS WITH AN AUGMENTING PLATE AND BONE AUTO- PLASTY IN THE TREATMENT FOR NON-FUSION OF THE HUMERUS (A CLINICAL OBSERVATION)

Abstarct: A clinical case of successful surgical treatment for non-fusion of the humerus in a patient after the operation of intraosseous blocked osteosynthesis (IBO) was described. A variant of polytherapy application within the framework of “diamond” concept of non-fusion treatment was demonstrated. Mechanical component of non-fusion was modified by the compression on the pin with subsequent overlay of augmenting plate. Structural osseous autograft acted as osteoconductive scaffold and multipotent stem cells were “delivered” in the non-fusion zone as part of the spongy autogenous bone.
