«MIRROR» STROKE: ETIOLOGIC FACTORS OF DEVELOPMENT AND PECULIARITIES OF CLINICAL DIANOSIS

Abstarct: General questions of clinical and paraclinical diagnosis of «mirror» stroke (MS) are adduced, interrelations of neurologic syndromes and neuroimaging picture in such cerebral cortex (CC) injures are demonstrated in the report. «Mirror» (two-sided, bilateral) stroke is nowadays considered to be one of insufficiently studied problem. Many etiologic factors, peculiarities of clinical picture in the form of twosided injures and the presence of neurological disorders which are of the same name relatively to the topical localization of the process lead to significant diagnostic difficulties.
