IMPARED HEALTH STATUS IN CHILDREN SUFFERED FROM NEW CORONAVIRUS INFECTION

- Objective – to determine frequency and peculiarities of clinical manifestations of impaired health in children of different age groups suffered from new coronavirus infection (NCVI). Material and methods. The study was carried out in pediatric polyclinic number 8 by the Kuvayevs. Age structure of patients suffered from COVID-19 in July 2021 – February 2022 was studied, аnalysis of developmental case history was performed in 412 children (form 112/у) who sought for medical care due to the impaired health after NCVI. Results and discussion. NCVI peak incidence in children occurred in the first half-year of 2021. Impaired health status was revealed in 73 % children suffered from NCVI, and only 50 % of them sought for polyclinic medical care. Post-COVID syndrome in children including infants, children of pre-school and school age was accompanied by disorders in vegetative, emotional-behavioral and cognitive spheres and by the decreased resistance of child organism. In order to reveal such disorders in time the authors developed screening questionnaires with due regard to clinical peculiarities of post-COVID syndrome in children of different ages. Conclusion. The usage of the developed questionnaires would let to reveal post-COVID disorders in patients suffered from NCVI in time including persons with erased course of the disease. Timely detection of post-COVID disorders and their correction would extremely important for prevention of chronic pathology development and further developmental disturbances
