FRACTURE OF FEMORAL COMPONENT OF HIP JOINT IMPLANT: A CLINICAL CASE

Abstarct: The authors described a rare case of the fracture of femoral component of hip joint implant in a patient aged 54 years who had the following risk factors: excessive weight in combination with active physical load on the operated limb. Explorative operation of implant substitution was performed. The patient was examined in a year; the results by Harris scale were evaluated as good ones, any complications of implanted joint were not detected.
