- Objective – to assess the state of health in different variants of posture disorders in schoolchildren. Material and methods. 120 schoolchildren aged 7-16 years were examined including 20 ones with normal posture and 100 ones with its disorders in one (n = 26), two (n = 40) or three (n = 34) planes – frontal, horizontal or sagittal. Posture was determined by the method of computer optical spine topography. The examination program included the estimation of physical development, resistance, level of connective tissue stigmatization, spirography, electrocardiography, and echocardiography. The results of the clinical and instrumental study were compared with the type of posture disorder. Results and discussion. Postural disorders in schoolchildren were associated with disharmonious physical development, mainly overweight, obesity, syndrome of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia, and functional disorders of the autonomic nervous, respiratory, and cardiovascular systems. In parallel with the increase in the number of planes in which there was spine deviation, the frequency of functional disorders and chronic diseases increases, and the structure of the pathology was determined by the variant of posture disorders. Conclusion. Evaluation of posture in schoolchildren with the determination of the planes of spine deviation allowed to predict health disorders in this pathology.
