- Actuality - the active process of structural and functional development of the hospital bed fund requires the necessity to analyze the main indices of its work. Objective – to analyze the dynamics of the main indicators of the therapeutic hospital beds both in round-the-clock and daily stay in the Russian Federation, federal districts (FD) and regions in 2010-2018 years. Material and methods. On the grounds of the data of federal statistic observation (forms № 30, № 47 and № 14ДС) by descriptive statistic method the main parameters of therapeutic bed fund in twenty-four-hour and day hospitals in the Russian Federation, FD and regions and mortality rate in twenty-four-hour beds were analyzed in dynamics in 2010–2018. Results and discussion. In general in the Russian Federation from 2010 to 2018 the absolute number of therapeutic hospital beds for round-the-clock stay reduced by 32,5 %, when calculating per 10 000 population the provision of beds in this profile in 2018 was decreased to 17,5 % in comparison to 2010. The level of hospitalization for therapeutic hospital beds for this period decreased by 20.3%), the average duration of stay at therapeutic hospital bed decreased by 18.0% and the average occupancy of one therapeutic hospital bed per year decreased by 1,8 %. Mortality rate at therapeutic hospital beds in the Russian Federation increased by 6,01 %. The provision of the population of the Russian Federation with beds in day care hospitals of a therapeutic profile was reduced. Conclusion. The extreme values of the index of hospital beds for the therapeutic profile of twenty-four-hour and day hospitals in the FD and regions of the Russian Federation vary significantly and reflect the disproportionate network organization; insufficient substitution function of day hospital and twenty-hour hospital is revealed.
