THE PECULIARITIES OF PHARMACOTHERAPY FOR ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION IN OLD AND ELDERLY PATIENTS

Abstarct: The authors discussed the problem of arterial hypertension treatment in old and elderly patients. Clinical peculiarities of arterial hypertension in elderly patients, necessary additional methods of medical examination and practically significant aspects of antihypertensive treatment were adduced. The tactics of antihypertensive therapy in old and elderly patients with senile asthenia was analyzed separately with due regard to actual clinical recommendations.
