EVALUATION OF COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS AND METHODS FOR THEIR CORRECTION IN ELDERLY PATIENTS

Abstarct: The psychological peculiarities which resulted in the disorders in interaction of elderly persons with social environment were described. The necessity of research of various personal alterations in this population group was substantiated. The objectification of cognitive features was allowed in dynamic estimation of the parameters and in exclusion of somatic asthenia&depression factors and while training of elderly person for effective usage of intellectual resources, monitoring of vegetative dysfunctions, emotional stabilization. The application of psycho-rehabilitative techniques (cognitive activation and increase of emotional stability in the framework of cognitive training, physical activation) allowed to preserve psychic health in elderly persons.
