THE ANALYSIS OF THE RUSSIAN PHARMACEUTICAL MARKET AND MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION OF ANTIHIS- TAMINE PREPARATIONS IN CHILDREN OF VARIOUS AGE WITH ALLERGIC AND RESPIRATORY DISEASES IN OUTPATIENT CLINIC

- The results of the assortment research of antihistamine preparations which are administered by pedia- tricians to children of various age with allergic and respiratory diseases in outpatient clinic are presented in the report. The authors determine the clinical entities where these remedies are used for pharmacotherapy. Anti- histamine preparations were administered in 96% children with allergic diseases, in respiratory diseases these remedies were used in 81% children; this fact differs from the general standards of these diseases treatment. Lorantadinum of various trade marks was the most administered remedy (38%) and it was used in tablet form in69% children. It was demonstrated that in spite of wide assortment of antihistamine preparations 30 trade marks of antihistamine remedies only were administered by pediatricians and this figure amounted to 20% of the assort- ment registered in the Russian Federation.
