- The gene polymorphism which control the level of blood pressure was studied in 50 women with preeclampsia and in 49 women with physiological pregnancy in the population of the Ivanovo region. The presence of low-functional alleles in the receptor genes of 1st and 2nd types for angiotensin II (AGTRI and AGTRII) and nitro- gen oxide endothelial synthase (NOS3) was associated with the increased risk for the preeclampsia development.
