QUALITY OF LIFE IN PATIENTS WITH GASTRO-INTESTINAL HEMORRAGE OF PORTAL GENESIS FROM VARICOSLY DILATED VEINS

- The article is devoted to the analysis of the efficacy of hemostasis endoscopic methods in acute gastro-intestinal hemorrage of portal genesis. The indices of survival and average life duration were studied in 244 patients which were divided into two groups: basic and comparative. It was stated the significant improvement of the indices of survival and average life duration in patients of the basic group, where endoscopic methods were used for hemostasis. It was proved that the patients of the basic group differed by higher level of the quality of life in follow-up examinations, longer keeping physical activity and the ability to work and self-service.
