- A clinical case of minimally invasive surgical treatment for spontaneous rupture of the femoral artery and the development of a false aneurysm is presented. The difficulties in diagnosing closed injuries have led to the need for the use of high-tech methods such as CT angiography, balloon occlusion, and stenting. Special attention was paid to a shift in the current paradigm: the transition from open surgery to x-ray endovascular and hybrid techniques.
