CLINICAL PICTURE OF HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER WITH RENAL SYNDROME IN YAROSLAVL REGION

- Objective: to study the clinical picture of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) in people living in the Yaroslavl region. Material and methods. A retrospective analysis of clinical symptoms was carried out according to the medical records of 77 patients with hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome treated at the Infectious Clinical Hospital of Yaroslavl from 2011 to 2022. Results and discussion. All patients have fever, catarrhal phenomena (72,7 %), often dry mouth and thirst (46,7 %), nausea and vomiting (49,3 %), diarrhea (25,9 %), visual impairment (23,3 %) in the initial period of the disease, hemorrhagic syndrome being detected rarely (9,1 %). The oliguric period is shortened, lower back pain is observed in 62,3 % of patients, edematous syndrome in 11,6 % of cases. Isohypostenuria and nocturia are registered in most patients in the polyuric period. Conclusion. The disease is mostly of mild severity, occurs cyclically, the clinical picture is polymorphic, hemorrhagic syndrome rarely develops.
