PECULIARITIES OF OLDER AGE GROUPS’ STATE OF HEALTH IN THE IVANOVO REGION

Abstarct

Objective: to analyze the demographic situation in the Ivanovo region in relation to morbidity and mortality rates in order to develop specific measures to increase the duration of active life. Material and methods. Conducted Data analysis Ivanovo Regional Budgetary Healthcare Institution of Special Type «Medical Information and Analytical Center» for the period from 2017 to 2024 and results of complex geriatric assessment of patients Geriatric Center Regional budgetary Healthcare Institution «Ivanovo city clinical hospital N. A. Kuvaevih». Results and discussion. Mortality rates of the elderly population of the Ivanovo region from cerebrovascular diseases, symptoms, signs and deviations from the norm, including old age, diseases of the endocrine system, disorders of nutrition and metabolic disorders, suicides, diseases of the nervous system, causes by alcohol abuse higher, than average indicators Russian Federation. 59,3% patients Geriatric Center was identified senile asthenia, 87,2 % – high risk of falls. Conclusion. Pilot study shows high prevalence of geriatric syndromes, affecting health status in older age groups, residents of the Ivanovo region. However, these geriatric syndromes are not fixed in the existing Forms of statistical reporting of medical organizations. Creation of a database of persons with geriatric syndromes is relevant to develop targeted assistance programs for this category of patients.
