Abstarct

A clinical case of the course of pregnancy and childbirth in a patient with subhepatic portal hypertension, as the most common form of portal hypertension in women of childbearing age, is described. The current information from scientific reports on this issue is presented. This pathology requires a comprehensive diagnosis and timely treatment, an interdisciplinary approach of obstetricians, surgeons, hepatologists, hematologists, anesthesiologists and neonatologists.
