Abstarct
Objective – to compare the incidence of blood circulation system diseases (BCSD) and peripheral arteries diseases (PAD) in the regions of the Russian Federation. Material and methods. Data about BCSD and separately accounted PAD: atherosclerosis of lower extremities (I70.2), thrombangiitis obliterating (I73.1) – in 2019 in the Russian Federation on the whole and also in 16 regions of the Russian Federation were analyzed. Results and discussion. In the Russian Federation specific weight of PAD in the structure of BCSD is not high on the whole (1,3 %). Morbidity of atherosclerosis of lower extremities (I70.2) and thrombangiitis obliterating (I73.1), upon the data 2019, correlated with both BCSD morbidity in generally (r = 0,74; p < 0,01), and with the diseases having a pathogenetic community with vascular pathology: arterial hypertension (АH), coronary heart disease (CHD), cerebrovascular diseases (CVD) (р = 0,78; p < 0,01). Significant distinctions of the frequency of newly diagnosed PAD of the total number of registered cases (from 8,1 to 40,8 %) were marked in the regions of the Russian Federation. Conclusion. Current forms of federal statistic observation do not allow to evaluate PAD incidence in full and it limits timely planning of medical aid and it requires to improve objective accounting of such patients.
