INCIDENCE OF DISEASES OF THE GENITOURINARY SYSTEM IN THE PERIOD OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN WORKING-AGE POPULATION OF TATARSTAN REPUBLIC

- Objective – to analyze dynamics and structure of genito-urinary system diseases (GUSD) among working-age population of Tatarstan Republic in the period of restrictive measures for COVID-19. Material and methods. In order to implement the goal the authors used statistic data of 2009–2019 (pre- COVID-19 period) and those of 2020–2021 (period of restrictive measures for COVID-19) and also calculated the rate of morbidity increase and the proportion of the studied feature in the specified periods. Results and discussion. Primary morbidity of GUSD in working-age population of Tatarstan Republic in 2009 году was amounting to 49,3 ‰, and to 2021 it decreased to 27,53 ‰ (р ≤ 0,05); the pace of decline (Т2021) was amounting to -36,2 %. Some trustworthy alterations in morbidity structure were not revealed. The proportion of patients with genitourinary diseases which were taken into dispensary registration was not changed. Conclusion. The obtained results allowed to find that COVID-19 pandemic at the population level did not influence the structure and the level of GUST morbidity among working-age population of Tatarstan Republic.
