REMEDIAL GYMNASTICS IN MEDICAL REHABILITATION IN PATIENTS WITH ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS

Abstarct: The authors presented the findings obtained in the course of the examinations which confirmed the positive influence of regular physical exercises on spinal column and joints in patients with ankylosing spondylitis. Some disadvantages of this technique of the performed examinations, lack of standardized approach to the estimation of remedial gymnastics (RG) efficacy were marked; it required the necessity of detailed study of indications and contraindications for RG administration, selection of necessary volume of physical load and development of standardized evaluation of RG efficacy in this category of patients.
