PERSONNEL OF MUNICIPAL MULTI-PROFILE HOSPITAL: GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

Abstarct
Actuality. Provision of high-quality medical aid is impossible without purposeful work in the field of personnel management. Objective - to reveal the tendencies of personnel management in multi-profile hospital. Materials and methods. Staff character features in large municipal multi-profile hospital (Samara municipal clinical hospital № 1 by N.I. Pirogov) were studied within the period of 2007-2016. The study was based upon the analysis of statistic forms № 30 “Information about medical facility” and № 17 “Information about medical and pharmaceutical personnel”. Results. Cutting-down of the staff by 13% and filled vacancies (besides physicians) was marked in high complete staff by filled vacancies, increase of physical persons number of all categories of in-patient department by 12% and reduction of pluralistic coefficient by 22,5%. Average age of hospital physicians reduced by 1,7 years, the same parameter of physician’s assistants increased by 5,6 years, the correlation “physician’s assistants - one physician” reduced from 1,8 to 1,6. Conclusions. Staff resources optimization was characterized by some tendencies to cutting-down of staff quantity and filled vacancies (besides physicians) in high complete staff by filled vacancies and pluralistic coefficient reduction. The correlation “physician’s assistants - one physician” was corrected. The strategy of personnel management includes the enlistment of young specialists - physicians and especially physicians’ assistants, supplementary professional education for specialists, improvement of scientific activity prestige and corporative culture development.
