THE ANALYSIS OF LIFE QUALITY IN PATIENTS WITH IMPACTED VENTRAL HERNIA IN LONG-TERM POSTOPERA- TIVE PERIOD

- The authors tried to study the quality of life in patients with impacted ventral hernia in long-term post- operative period. The study was based upon the analysis of life quality of 84 patients with impacted postoperative hernia; they undergone urgent operative intervention by net prosthesis. The evaluation of life quality was made by SF-36 questionnaire. The results of the analyzed data from the comparative group demonstrated the significant increase of all studied parameters of life quality in patients of prospective analysis group in comparison with the same ones in control group.
