The peculiarities of nutrition and food behavior in patients with bronchial asthma

Abstarct
The authors evaluated the factual nutrition and the peculiarities of food behaviour in patients withbronchial asthma (women of middle age and elderly women) in order to develop the basic directions for diet therapy in rehabilitation measures planning. The increased energetic value, heightened content of saturated fat acids and monosaccharides were marked in insufficiency of food fibers, B1 vitamin, niacin in the nutrition of such patients. It was revealed the correlation between the consumption of several food substances and bronchial asthma severity, spirometry indices, and obesity manifestation and arterial hypertension stage. It was detected the connection of emotional and external food behavior with high anxiety level in patients with bronchial asthma.
