VARIANTS OF RESECTION AND DRAINAGE OPERATIONS IN CHRONIC PANCREATITIS: A COMPARATIVE EVALUATION

- The authors made the retrospective analysis of follow-up results in the treatment for 181 patients with chronic pancreatitis in the terms from 2 years to 16 years. Pancreatoduodenal resection, pyloropreservative variant of pancreatoduodenal resection, duodenopreservative isolated resection of pancreas head, various types of drainage operations were performed. Russian version of MOS-SF-36 questionnaire was used for evaluation of life quality in the patients operated. It was determined that duodenopreservative isolated resection of pancreas head had obvious advantages in comparison with pancreatoduodenal resection and drainage operations.
