PSYCHOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES IN PATIENTS WITH EPILEPSY AND THEIR ROLE IN THE TREATMENT FOR THE DISEASE

Abstarct

60 patients with epilepsy were psychometrically tested by УСK, BDI and STAI questionnaires in order to investigate the factors which influenced the motivation for treatment. It was revealed that the motivation for treatment significantly influenced the efficacy of epilepsy treatment. Low internality in the field of health “immersed” the patient into his disease and was conducive to the rent purpose forming. Patients with epilepsy, invalidism and remission absence had low index of health internality and it decreased the efficacy of the treatment for the disease.
