Thestudy ofdiagnostic measuresinchildrenwith diabetesmellitus(I type) wascarried out by comparisonofthenumber offactually performed diagnostic manipulationswith their required number; thelatter being computed by thetechniqueofcasehistory expert evaluation. Thefactual volumeoflaboratory and instrumental examinationswhich wereadministered inaccording tothetreatment standardsfor thisdiseasewasfound tobеmorelower thanthat onewhich wasdetermined by expert evaluation. It wasconnected with thefact that standardsdid not takeintoaccount individual peculiaritiesofpatients. Thedata obtained might bеused for diagnostic measuresplanning inchildrenwith diabetesmellitus(I type) whowerehospitalized inendocrinologic department.
