BONE MINERAL DENSITY AND ITS METABOLIC PECULIARITIES IN SYNDROME OF INDIFFERENTIAL DYSPLASIA OF CONNECTIVE TISSUE
- Keywords
- syndrome of indifferential dysplasia of connective tossue, osteopeny, children
- Abstarct
- 65 children with indifferential dysplasia of connective tissue were examined; its combination with osteopenia was found in 60% of them. Decrease of bone tissue mineral density in this category of patients was accompanied with diminution of osteocalcine serum concentration. This fact reflected the lessening of osteogenesis intensity. Increase of C-terminal telopeptide level was simultaneously fixed in the absence of osteopeny and it testified to the intensification of collagen disintegration concomitant to connective tissue dysplasia.
