- 95 children aged 2-15 years with stenosing laryngotracheitis were examined. Multiple stigmata of dysembryogeny were determined and increase of stigma quantity was marked in all children. The frequency of indication similar to dysplasia symptoms in childhood was stated. Polyorganic disorders and phenotype were indicated typical for congenital defects of the connective tissue. Changes in collagen metabolic parameters were revealed; they indicated their partial degradation. The magnitude of these changes altered with the severity of the connective tissue dysplasia syndrome. The authors considered the influence of the connective tissue dysplasia progression degree on the course character and basic clinical manifestations of the acute viral infection which was accompanied by the stenosing laryngotracheitis syndrome.
