FEATURES OF SPECIFIC PHARMACOTHERAPY IN PATIENTS UNDERGOING LARGE JOINT ARTHROPLASTY WITH CONCOMITANT RHEUMATIC PATHOLOGY

Abstarct: Literature data dedicated to the problem of the risk of early postoperative complications of large joint arthroplasty in rheumatic pathology were analyzed. It was established that, due to the varying degrees of influence of etiotropic drugs on the soft tissue regeneration process, specialized patient preparation, dose adjustment of medications, and timely return of the patient to the previous treatment course are required. Differentiation of patients in a hospital setting at the preoperative stage presents difficulties due to the high prevalence of rheumatic diseases (up to 52 % of cases) and challenges in selecting a treatment course due to the absence of a rheumatologist. Adequate correction of etiotropic therapy is only half the success in postoperative patient management. Timely application of bone resorption inhibitors and calcium-phosphorus metabolism regulators is also important. Understanding the principles of specific pharmacotherapy in patients with concomitant rheumatic pathology should be an integral part of the preoperative stage. Given the large number of identified patients, further research is advisable to assess risk factors, diagnostic capabilities, and the prediction of surgical outcomes.
