Authors used the data from statistical collections of Federal State Budgetary Institution “Central research institute of management and informatization of health care” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and analyzed frequency and structure of morbidity of pregnant women in individual nosological forms related to the XV class of diseases in International Classification of Diseases-10 (ICD-10) in the dynamics within five years (2017–2021). Results and discussion Anemia of pregnant women took the first rank place in the structure of morbidity of the XV class of diseases in ICD-10 in Russia and in Saint-Petersburg, the diseases of genitourinary system took the second place, and threat of termination of pregnancy took the third place. And in 2021 году in Saint-Petersburg the part of such dangerous status as threat of termination of pregnancy retreated to the fourth place. The frequency of the morbidity of anemia of pregnant women in Saint-Petersburg exceeded the average Russian level within all studied period practically. The part of preeclampsia, venous complications, diseases of endocrine, genitourinary and circulation systems in the structure of the morbidity of women of fertile age in megacity was also higher than the average Russian parameters. And the frequency of fetal pathological states and their specific weight were lower than average Russian level. In the megacity and in the Russian Federation on the whole some definite tendency might be traced in the dynamics of prevalence of several diseases in pregnant patients such as anemia, venous complications and diseases of endocrine system. And the frequency of fetal pathological states in Saint-Petersburg were lower than average Russian parameters and demonstrated rather positive dynamics in simultane- ous decrease of preeclampsia prevalence, threat of termination of pregnancy, diseases of circulation and genitourinary systems. Conclusion. The peculiarities of the morbidity of pregnant patients in Saint-Petersburg reflected the state of obstetrics and gynecology service management in the megacity and should be taken into consideration when planning medical care for women.
