MEDICO-SOCIAL PORTRAIT OF YOUNG PRIMIPAROUS

Abstarct
Objective – to study medico-social portrait of young primiparous. Мaterial and methods. 88 patients aged 12-18 years who were registered for pregnancy in 2016–2020 were enrolled in the study. Average age of the examined persons was amounting to 15,0 ± 1,5 years. The following medico-social features were studied: place of residence, marital status, family history, level of education, presence of harmful habits, the term of the onset of menarche, sexual behavior, gynecological anamnesis. Results and discussion. Young patients aged 15 years (40,9 %), who lived mainly in rural areas (59,2 %), predominated in this group; 84,1 % were not married. 79,5 % patients had harmful habits. Two thirds of the examined persons (67 %) had no one or two parents, 89,8 % of them studied or worked. In this group early (at 10 years) or late (at 15–18 years) onset of menarche (in 3,4 and 22,7 % cases respectively)were registered. The conception occurred at the sexual debut in 29,5 % adolescents, in 15,9 % – as a result of long-term sexual relationship. More than half (61,4 %) of young primiparous did not have permanent sexual partner and 78,4 % did not use contraceptives. Conclusion. Medico-social features of such category of persons should be taken into consideration in order to prevent accidental pregnancy in adolescents.
