EPIDEMIOLOGY AND RISK FACTORS FOR PHARYNGEAL TONSIL PATHOLOGY DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN

- The diseases of respiratory organs exert rather significant influence on health status formation in children. Objective – to give epidemiological characteristics of ent-organs pathology in children. The survey of the incidence of ear, nose and throat diseases was performed upon the data of seeking medical advices (on the territory with children population aged under 14 years, 50600 persons in number) and upon the results of prophylactic examinations in 29949 children. High incidence of ent-pathology in children was confirmed by own obtained results. It was determined that there were some peculiarities of ante-, intra- and postnatal periods in patients with pathological alterations of pharyngeal tonsil and adenoids, and it exerted unfavorable influence on the formation of various systems of child organism including the immune one and it substantiated the development of different ent-diseases.
