- Objective – to evaluate functional possibilities of organism and rehabilitative potential in invalid children in health centre in order to correct their medico-social treatment. Material and methods. 53 invalid children aged 7–17 years with mental disorders, neurological pathology or locomotorium diseases were examined in Ivanovo municipal health centre. Body mass, height, arterial pressure were measured, hand dy- namometry, electrocardiography, spirometry, cardiac rhythm variability (CRV) analysis, bioelectrical impedance analysis were performed. Results. The examined children had concomitant pathology such as osseous and muscular system diseases (84,9%), nervous system diseases (41,5%), cardiovascular system diseases (39,6%), eye diseases (35,8%), mental disorders (32,1%), respiratory system pathology (26,1%). Excessive body mass was revealed in 22,6%, body mass deficiency – in 17,0%. Respiratory function disorders on restrictive type were detected in 15,6, on obstructive type – in 4,4%, tracheal bronchial permeability disorder – in 4,4%. Upon the findings of bioelectrical impedance analysis the excess of fatty tissue was found in 16 children (32,2%) and its lack was revealed in 16 children (32,2%). CRV analysis demonstrated the decrease of adaptation reserves of the organism (including significant degree) in 50% of the examined patients. Heightened cholesterol level was detected in 5,8% children, cardiac rhythm disorder – almost in 50% children, arrhythmia by electrocardiography findings – in 37,7%. Conclusions. Early unrevealed disorders of physical development and organism functional status disturbances were found in the examination course of invalid children in health centre. The objective estimation of rehabilitative potential of the given children contingent was necessary to correct the algorithm of their medico-social treatment, in particular to conduct additional consultation by specialists in order to detect comorbid pathology timely and to specify the recommendations in nutrition and physical education.
