GERIATRIC AID MANAGEMENT IN ELDERLY POPULATION IN IVANOVO REGION: STATE AND PROBLEMS

Abstarct: The authors described geriatric aid management in Ivanovo region which was regarded to the most “old” regions of the Russian Federation. Statistic data which characterized its state were adduced. The strategy for geriatric aid reorganization into united multi-level system of ambulatory-polyclinic and hospital aid was suggested with due regard to the statements of “World Report concerning aging and health” (published by World Health Organization in 2015). The problems of interaction between medical and social services, improvement of medical aid techniques and dispensary observation in elderly persons were considered. The role of Ivanovo regional geriatric centre was marked.
