- Current concepts upon the theme of the traditional factors of cardiovascular risk, chronic autoimmune inflammation and pharmacotherapy by antirheumatic preparations contribution to the structure of cardiovascular risk in patients with rheumatic arthritis were summarized. The author considered the questions of interaction and reciprocal influence of risk factors and inflammation on cardiovascular diseases development in patients with rheumatic arthritis; the possibilities of cardiovascular risk profile modification was also discussed.
