Abstarct

The complex characteristic of physical development, emotional vegetative sphere status and mode of life in fi rst year students of the Ivanovo State Medical Academy aged 16-17 is presented. Some new approaches to the organization and content of physical education system in the academy are substantiated. They allow both to sanitate the students and to form the positive attitude of future medical doctors to physical methods of rehabilitation.
