METABOLIC SYNDROME IN ADOLESCENTS

Abstarct

Author studied the incidence of basic manifestations of metabolic syndrome in children with obesity. Metabolic syndrome was reveled in almost 50% patients and MS partial form was diagnosed more often. Abdominal obesity, arterial hypertension and hypertriglyceridemia were syndrome basic manifestations. Insulin resistance was considered to bе the central link of pathogenesis and the basis of аll metabolic manifestations. It was the reason for analysis of insulin level and insulin resistance manifestation in children with obesity without meta-bolic disturbances and those ones with metabolic syndrome. Reliable increase of these indices in children with metabolic syndrome was revealed.
