Abstarct

Certain changes have been made to the legislation concerning healthcare issues, which affect the provision of medical services under the compulsory health insurance system, in particular, the financial component and the quality of medical care. The efficiency of the CHI system in Russia was analyzed, and the main factors influencing its development were identified. Currently, medical services under the CHI system have become more accessible to the population of the Russian Federation. However, there are a number of financial problems, as well as the issue of uneven resource distribution. Further reforming is aimed at improving the efficiency of the compulsory health insurance system and the quality of medical services. At the same time, comprehensive work is important not only on financing issues but also on resource management
