Peculiarities of clinical course of co-infection with HIV and chronic hepatitis C in dependence on specific therapy conduction

- The peculiarities of clinical course of co-infection with HIV and chronic hepatitis C were studied in 71 patients in dependence on following antiretroviral therapy administration. The effectiveness of specific therapy in this category which was manifested by the diminishment of quantity and expression of opportunist infections was demonstrated. Shortening of fever period, decrease of viral HIV load and HCV replicative activity in case of the treatment follow testified to it.
