Abstarct

A new form of acquired cardiomyopathy - takotsubo cardiomyopathy - is considered. Benign reversible spasm of coronary arteries is the ground of its pathogenesis; this spasm clinically resembles myocardial infarction attack. Stress is more often proved to be the cause of this pathology; it takes place in persons of various age groups; its outcome is more often is favorable.
