The role of psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy in the aftertreatment for patients with multiple sclerosis

Abstarct: The interrelation between the degree of pain syndrome manifestation and depressive disorders in patients with multiple sclerosis was revealed. The peculiarities of depressive disorders were detected in these patients with algesic syndromes presence. Their dynamics was studied on the background of antidepressant administration and psychotherapy. The results obtained testified to the positive influence of psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy on the rehabilitation of patients with multiple sclerosis with depressive and algesic syndromes.
